The Carps - The Young And Passionate Days Of Carpedia
The Carps played during Orientation Week at Western and that show reminded me how awesome live music is and how a great performance is a part of that. Comparisons to Death from Above and White Stripes are lazy. There are only 5 tracks on the album but it’s equal if not worth more than the typical 20-track-crap that gets pumped into the scene. They have a second EP coming out that is less heavy bass and more technorock yet still has that ‘Carps’ feeling.
